Live Your Healthiest Life on a Cellular Level

What is a healthy metabolism? It points to a balanced lifestyle that affects our energy levels, balanced blood sugar, well-functioning digestive system, managed stress, proper rest, and consistent movement. Unfortunately, recent studies have shown that only 6.8% of the adult American population meet the cardiometabolic health markers. Shocking, isn’t it?! And it also is a HUGE wakeup call because it certainly unfavorably contruibutes to long-term health as well as our biological age.

Since metabolism impacts our energy, body composition, sleep, and cognitive performance, we have to focus on our pillars of health toward a healthier lifestyle:

  1. Healthy Nutrition

    • Choose balanced, nutrient-dense whole foods of fresh vegetables and fruit, organic protein, and fat.

    • Pick a couple of hearty snacks, especially with extra protein.

    • Stay hydrated with at least half your body weight in ounces.

  2. Daily Movement

    • Stretch your spine and limbs. Establish a simple yoga practice.

    • Get your blood pumping; walk, run, hike, bike, dance.

  3. Stress Management - Sleep & Rest

    • Get 7 to 9 hours of sleep daily to allow your body to properly rest and repair.

    • Switch off electronics before bedtime; reach for a book or another low-tech activity.

  4. Toxin-free Living

    • Choose plant-based cleaning products* for your home, as well as for your personal care.

    • Make sure to avoid products with phosphates, sulfates, phthalates, dyes, and chlorine.

  5. Chiropractic Care & Body Work

    • Maintain regular chiropractic care for optimal nervous and immune system function.

    • Add additional forms of body works, like massage therapy, cupping, soft tissue mobilization.
